Remembering the Future: 100 Years of Inspiring Art

Moondance guests will be the very first to see the Heard Museum’s newest Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Grand Gallery exhibition, Remembering the Future: 100 Years of Inspiring Art, which will open to the public the following day. This original exhibition, co-curated by Heard Museum curators Diana Pardue and Dr. Ann Marshall, will showcase a century of painting and sculpture produced by leading American Indian artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Each work represents a highlight of the Heard Museum’s permanent collection and reflects an artistic response to the challenges and opportunities presented by the decade in which it was created.
